The OM AH HUM (Om Ah Uhm as an interpretation of the project) project could generally be understood as the renovation of the more residential and social space (kitchen-dining-living room) of a 90s apartment in Elche. However, the design of this new space goes far beyond that, generating a tangible change in the lives of its inhabitants over the past 25 years, reaching the spiritual sphere. To this end, holism, understood as the “doctrine that supports the conception of each reality as a whole distinct from the sum of its component parts”, appears as the primary approach to architectural design. Therefore, it is understood that the union of each part designed in this space does not define the final result, but rather makes it more complex. In this way, the World of Holistic Architecture studio continues its particular line of work based on a series of small projects. While these projects are fundamental to understanding space, the main concept, understood as the point of origin, is essential to give it meaning. In this case, meditation and the rituals associated with it allow the project to be linked to the more personal side of this family and mark the central point that gives meaning to the space.

The scent olfactory translates these characteristics of the architectural project, including three phases: a clean, citrusy and floral opening; a second phase that develops through a floral ensemble associated with well-being; and a more spiritual basis associated with incense. The opening is defined by bergamot, orange blossom and coriander, and then gives way to a strongly floral heart: damask rose, French lavender, tuberose, lily, acacia, myrtle and hedione, with a predominance of tuberose and French lavender. The base notes are composed of white musk, incense tincture, Atlas cedar tincture, mahogany and woody notes.
