“Rich in ripe fruits” is the initial thought, but behind the fruity notes we discover amber, one of Whoosh’s base notes. Originally, amber is the fragrant, dense, grayish (sometimes black) intestinal secretion of sperm whale (Physeter macrocephalus), which protects the body’s intestinal wall. Processed amber has been a staple of perfumery for millennia.
