I must confess that Oud Noir is my favorite creation of this collection to date. If I had to describe it in words, I would imagine a dense jungle, ancient and sacred, where imposing agarwood trees burn in a silent fire. Their dark, resinous hearts release plumes of smoke, full of mystery.

This is the soul of Oud Noir: a bold and enveloping fragrance, in which the deep and complex agarwood dominates, wrapped in thick swirls of incense.

Supporting this smoky heart are a gothic patchouli and genuine leather, which give an earthy and mature elegance. These notes are not excessive: they are powerful, yet understated, and let the natural beauty of oud shine through. The ouds used here are special: distilled without soaking, but at high temperatures to release their most incense and smoky aspects. They make up a remarkable 60% of the formula. The result? A blend that does not whisper. It talks, lingers and transports you on a sensory journey that seems endless. And just when you think you’ve revealed all its secrets, a subtle sweetness emerges: not gourmand, not cloying, but warm and engaging. It is derived from a rare Sri Lankan Guaiac Vanilla CO₂ wood, of which I captured only the smoky, woody and sugary top notes through molecular distillation. It’s a subtle contrast to the darkness, just enough to balance without dulling its impact.

Oud Noir is undeniably oriental and proudly Arabic in its soul, but made with an artisanal touch that makes it unique. It’s not made to please everyone – it’s a refined and bold fragrance for true connoisseurs. For those who appreciate depth, elegance and olfactory storytelling.
