The vibrant top notes of galbanum, prickly pear, pineapple, bergamot and blood orange evoke the dynamism of the historic market, while the enveloping heart of oud, leather and jasmine tells the depth and mystery of the city. In the background, ambergris and tonkin moss leave an indelible imprint, like the alleys that tell stories of past eras.

During my olfactory training I had noticed that many raw materials typically used in gourmand accords showed undertones, facets very far from the imagery that usually accompanies gourmand compositions. So I decided to try to enhance these dark aspects. mysterious, dusty, animalic. I highlighted the bitter, dusty, earthy, and animalic traits of cocoa absolute. Coffee, with its bitter, herbaceous and roasted notes, gives further color to the fragrance. Vanilla, on the other hand, brings additional powderiness together with oak moss. Floral notes first of lavender and then of jasmine give further mystery and sensuality to the composition, whose vocation remains gothic and mysterious.
