The Chapel of the Gladiolus

In a side chapel, an oblique light highlights the vases full of gladiolus. Its scent brings with it an intimate memory, linked to precise seasons of life, to hands that arrange flowers with care and to a silence inhabited by expectation.

The organ music in this space is reminiscent of the moments of preparation of the church on Saturday afternoons, when I accompanied my mother to clean the church.
