The wild man is a figure of the popular imagination present in many cultures, partly human, partly animal, often depicted completely covered in fur and partly vegetable.

In Alpine culture, the wild man, or Selvadego, acts as a bridge between the real, human, urban and civilized world and the unknown and unreal world that takes shape in the shadows of the woods, the realm of fantastic and mythological characters.

Silenus represents this phenomenon in Greco-Roman culture, often depicted at the court of Dionysus or as lord and companion of the fauns.

SILENO represents wisdom in excess.

This fragrance opens with an accord created to recall the scent of human skin, with lactonic notes of sandalwood enriched with spices. The arboreal element is enhanced by the green notes of bourbon geranium and lavender, and the resinous notes of cypress and juniper, with a strongly animalic base of musk, castoreum and precious woods.

The mineral notes remind us of rocks, the cold water of a stream, while tonka bean, a key ingredient in the fougère formula, adds a touch of sweet elegance.
