With its “High Standards” collection, Obvious Parfums launches a new collection inspired by the last hiding places where we can still try to be ourselves.<\/span><\/span> Real or imaginary places, as many bubbles of beauty and softness, where the soul can quench its thirst.<\/span><\/span> This elsewhere is a luxury, etymologically a light in a world that is darkening. <\/span><\/span>To evoke this authentic luxury, Obvious Parfums turned to Julien Rasquinet.<\/span><\/span> This orientalist, a pupil of Pierre Bourdon, has chiseled 3 complex and multifaceted Eaux de Parfum, inspired by Mexico and Frida Kahlo, Bhutan and its famous Gross National Happiness (GNH) or the Island of Salina, certainly the most beautiful of the Aeolian Islands… This blend of cultures, relaxation and elegance find their personification in a chic and casual eco-designed case. <\/span><\/span> Obvious Parfums remains true to its DNA, using the know-how of the Master Perfumer to encapsulate new olfactory emotions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Frida’s Thorns is an ode to Mexico and its most iconic heroine Frida Khalo, a committed and brilliant artist, with a suffered and contrasted life. Non-conformist fragrance, which expresses the different facets of a sensual femininity and ardent with freedom, intense and not taken for granted, made of desire, instinct, sweetness and strength. The fragrance opens with the fruity notes of Pear and Raspberry, which represent sweetness, and then intensifies with those of Rose, the most sensual and feminine par excellence. But she is a rose with thorns, full of love and desire, who refuses to remain closed or trapped in the conventional and traditional role in which she is often confined.
