The night is pitch black, the air becomes crisp while the surrounding dunes of very fine sand give up their ocher color while the sun disappears. The only focal point now is the lights emanating from the bustling night souk.
After a few steps through the spice market, the nose is hit with an apple note crossed with a spicy note of ground pepper. Weaving deeper into the souk’s narrow alleys is no easy task, as merchants distract themselves with their call to admire their finest wares: velvety white flowers carefully lined up alongside the most coveted of all turpentines: oudwood.
Further lost in the cloudy smells rising from the incandescent incenses, a hint of musk swirls through warm golden amber wrapped snugly in sweet vanilla. The sensation is that of a sweet and dreamy nirvana.<\/p>\n
