Candy From Strangers explores the attraction to the unknown — the threshold between desire and danger, the silent pleasure of crossing a line. It is the instant in which the distance between two presences becomes charged and inevitable. A sweetness that does not console but seduces, does not reassure but transforms — the silent recognition between strangers.

The composition opens with a short, refined luminosity of citrus and aromatic nuances, like a controlled first glance. Iris and violet unfold in a velvety and powdery heart, crossed by a creamy sweetness that recalls caramel and a satin lipstick. In the base, amber, patchouli and woods deepen the fragrance, while a subtle leathery and slightly smoky nuance creates tension, leaving a warm and magnetic presence on the skin.

The animal booster

The idea was to create a fragrance that encapsulated the central essence, or DNA, of all my creations. I wanted this perfume to be not only an independent fragrance, but also a booster, a product that can be layered to amplify the presence and projection of other perfumes.

This booster can be used in different methods. If you have a scent that seems too muted or not very incisive, you can spray it on top or below it to give it a strong boost and improve its diffusion. Designed with versatility in mind, it brings with it Francesca's characteristic animalistic touch, combined with facets of iris. When worn alone, it offers a simpler and more linear essence than the usual complexity of Francesca's main perfumes. It has been designed to enhance and enhance, yet remains easily wearable on its own, with a soft and comforting character. It is an experiment, the idea will develop and perhaps end up in a catalog edition.

FRANCESCA BIANCHI THE CODE OF EMOTION 30ML EXTRAIT DE PARFUM

Even before I launched my first perfumes, I was obsessed with the idea of an “emotion-generating machine”. This is what guides me during my creation process: creating fragrances with the specific purpose of igniting an emotion.
Like a mechanic tuning a powerful engine, I carefully position each note in order to trigger specific emotions: the intensity of the lovers’ passion, the memory of the smell of leather, the sense of nostalgia for an imaginary place, etc.

For this particular creation, my goal was to dig deeper into the very mechanism of the emotional response to my medium of expression, the art of perfumery. How can I make it work? Are there methods that can be replicated? And can they arouse the same emotion in different people?
I experimented in different directions, focusing on a method I had used many times before, but this time with more focus and intention. The goal was to decode an emotion, deconstruct the input that ignites it, in other words write a “Code of Emotion”.

In this experiment, I started with the classic fougère structure – a green, aromatic and woody accord, which is familiar and recognizable. Also, it’s an arrangement that I’ve only recently started to relate to emotionally. But I wanted to push it further, challenging its traditional boundaries and introducing an unexpected twist: a vibrant accord of tropical fruits, with a juicy and mouth-watering mango at its core.

This exotic note upsets the predictable chord of the fougère, transforming it into something familiar and at the same time surprising. The result is a recognizable but also different scent, which requires a moment to identify the familiar imprint of the fougère under the lush and original facet of the fruitiness.
For me, this fragrance evokes a joyful sense of surprise, a contrast between the comfort of the fougère and the playful luminosity of tropical fruits. It is pampering but also invigorating, deep but never heavy, greedy without slipping into the territory of gluttony.

In addition, I set myself a secondary challenge: to avoid the use of iris or iris-like accords altogether and keep animal notes to a minimum, limiting myself to a couple of clean musks.

It is an opulent
and voluptuous interpretation of Oud, from the Essentials line
; an
interpretation of sweet and
caramel, slightly fruity
(plum) Oud, with leathery and
delicately smoky aspects.

It is a fragrance that
once again expresses my
obsession with human
intimacy and the experience of it: the
infinite sweetness of the closeness
of the body, the search for the animal aspect
in the human being. A
search for the quintessence
of humanity, started with Sex and
the Sea and Under My Skin,
passed through The Lover’s Tale and
Unspoken Musk.

It is the wonderful sensation of
opulence and fullness of a round Oud
, which associates the woody
part with animal and leather aspects,
whose sometimes very
pungent character is diluted by
the sweetness of caramel.

It is a fragrance that, right
in the extrait formulation,
shows all its complexity
and sweetness, sensuality and
lust, as in a mythical
kingdom of abundance.

The other typical aspect of this beautiful
material, the one reminiscent of cheese, is
amplified but in a gourmand sense, accentuated
by creamy, buttery and fruity notes (plum).
The same sensation of richness, abundance
and extreme sweetness that is found in
Middle Eastern pastry, very sweet and
exuberant.

The Mariner’s Rhyme cattura l’essenza di un marinaio in mezzo a una tempesta. It features the metallic character of a razor blade, an ozonic quality that evokes the cold winds of the storm, and a dark and mysterious depth similar to the depths of the ocean. Although it is fresher and more transparent than the other perfumes in the collection, the unmistakable DNA of my dramatic character and animalic iris shapes this unique creation.

The beautiful mosaics of the Byzantine civilization, like those of Ravenna, have shining gold tiles but imperfect because worn out by time. This sense of theatrical and bright splendor but accompanied by a dark and gloomy side inspired Byzantine Amber.
Geranium – pulpy, pink, spicy, a little green, contrasts with the dry minerality of ambergris storax.
In the base there is a familiar structure, an amber accord enriched by a spice that makes it sensual, cinnamon.
That warm, lustrous accord is overshadowed by leathery, smoky and animal aspects, which give intensity and characterize the composition.

Unspoken Musk is my personal musk, and in a hypothetical Olfactory Map he would be in the region closest to Humanity and Sensuality. It is not the scent of fresh laundry, but the one rich in experience and intensity of emotions cultivated intimately.
It is an emotional moss, as it almost generates a physical reaction while you are experiencing your deepest emotions.
Sweet, velvety, persuasive, dirty, flowery, human; Innocent and sinful at the same time, moss represents the dichotomy that defines the human being.

Unspoken Musk is the fantasy around Moss, certainly inspired by natural moss, but above all enriched by the stratification of memories, suggestions and readings about this mythical ingredient, which has inebriated human beings for centuries.
