Mono No Aware is a key term in Japanese culture and loosely translated means something like the appreciation of things/objects due to the realization of their impermanence. The perfumer discovered this term while reading Sally Mann's autobiography, and was immediately struck by it. In the past, he had already experienced that particular feeling of joy mixed with melancholy that you get when you understand that everything is temporary. This awareness pushes us to live every moment intensely, creating a continuous cycle between attachment and letting go. Although loss can bring sadness, isn't it said that it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved?

A dirty mind is a joy forever they say! The perfume started out as an exercise in recreating the scent of deer musk, the deal was done quickly but releasing it as a stand-alone fragrance seemed boring and redundant so an entire composition was built around it.

Focusing on the contrast, the scent opens very bright and radiant, then slowly transforms into this sensual enveloping scent that provides excitement and comfort at the same time.
